About Cynthia
Cynthia M. Lummis is United States Senator from Wyoming and one of the most prominent congressional voices on crypto-asset legislation. Senator Lummis co-sponsored the GENIUS Act (Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act of 2025), the federal stablecoin regulatory framework that took effect in the US stablecoin landscape. She has been an advocate for crypto-asset legislative clarity since entering the Senate in 2021 and is one of the principal legislative architects of the emerging US federal crypto-asset framework.
