About William
William O'Rorke is the founding partner of ORWL, a Paris law firm built around Web3, crypto, and digital-asset regulation, and he heads the legal committee of ADAN, France's main crypto-asset association. He leads ORWL's regulatory practice, advising VASPs and CASPs on French PSAN registration and the transition to MiCA authorisation. O'Rorke is one of the most-quoted French practitioner voices on MiCA, staking taxation, and the PSAN-to-CASP migration, and appears regularly on Cryptoast, Law of Code, and other industry programmes. France's early PSAN regime makes its operators a leading test case for how pre-MiCA national licences convert — and O'Rorke has run more of those conversions than most.
